Brynne Gant

Owner, Attorney

Brynne grew up near the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree from BYU in Family Sciences. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2013 and was admitted to practice law in Colorado that same year.

Before law school, Brynne worked for a law firm specializing in family law and estate planning. She continued pursuing those areas during law school, focusing on domestic relations, family law, and litigation skills. She took first place in the 2012 Woody Deem Trial Competition and served as the President of both The Family Law Society and Jail Outreach. During law school, Brynne interned for the Lehi City Attorney's Office, the Denver District Attorney's Office-Family Violence Unit, and the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office-Appeals Division.

After law school, Brynne served as a Weld County Deputy District Attorney for nearly four years, quickly gaining an astounding amount of trial experience. While a DDA, she handled over 40 jury trials, including everything from misdemeanor traffic to child homicide. Since leaving the DA's Office, Brynne has worked in private practice focusing on Probate Law, Elder Law, Family Law, and Criminal Defense. She is a member of the Trust and Estate section of the Colorado Bar Association and the Weld County Bar Association.

In her spare time, Brynne loves to write, read, and spend time with her husband and children.

Ben Lutter

Associate

Ben is a Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from CU-Denver and in 2020 he received his J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at DU. During law school Ben did clinical work representing victims of domestic abuse in civil protection orders. Upon graduation he earned the Howard Jenkins Jr. Labor Law Award, the Clarence L. Bartholic Award for Highest Grade in Legal Profession, and the Scholastic Excellence Award for Highest Performance in Natural Resources Law. Ben is excited to bring his talents, knowledge, and experience to the team at Gant Law.

Outside of work Ben enjoys hiking, skiing, and everything else Colorado has to offer. He also loves to spend time with his wonderful wife and son.

Jess McLaggan

Associate

Jess grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado near Cheyenne Mountain before heading southwest to Arizona for college. She attended Grand Canyon University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Jess returned home to Colorado to begin law school at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. During law school, Jess earned her Certificate in Basic Legal Research, submitted multiple directed research projects, and represented clients as a student attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic. Now she looks forward to using all she has learned to help people alongside the team at Gant Law. In her spare time, Jess loves reading, camping, exercising, petting every dog she meets, and family game nights.
